Daurita was an especially fine example of our Rodania Tail female line of mares. She is the grand-dam of one of our finest Aulrab daughters, Aur Alexandria. Alexandria's first foal, a colt by Aul Magic+/, Aul Vanity shows much promise as a future herd sire.

Daurita was an very correct mare, with the prettiest of heads. Her sire, Daufin, was one of the head stallions for The Mekeel Ranch breeding program in the 60's. He was known for the beauty of his head and lovely conformation.

Daurita is of early California well known breeding stock. Her son by Aulrab, Aur Destiny, is a successful endurance horse.
